Rhonda Harlow, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of education. Rhonda began their career at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where they served as an Adjunct Instructor from 2007 to 2015. In 2005, they transitioned to Enid Public Schools, where they held various roles including Reading Specialist, Literacy Coach, and Instructional Coach until 2017. Since 2017, Rhonda has been working at the Oklahoma Education Association, first as an Advocacy Specialist and currently as the Associate Executive Director of Organizing & Leadership Development and Teaching & Learning.

Rhonda Harlow, PhD, has a diverse and extensive education history. Rhonda obtained their Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Oklahoma State University, from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Reading Teacher Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Finally, Rhonda completed their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education from Oklahoma State University, a program they attended from 2012 to 2020.

In addition to their formal degrees, Rhonda holds several certifications. Rhonda obtained the National Board Certification in Literacy-Reading Language Arts in November 2009. Rhonda also possesses certifications in Elementary Education, English as a Second Language, Journalism, and is a certified Reading Specialist.
