Saidy Herrera

Saidy Herrera is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in multicultural outreach, education, and business management. Currently serving as the Multicultural Officer at the Oklahoma Historical Society since February 2022, Saidy focuses on developing programs for historically underrepresented communities. Previous experience includes co-founding Iglesia Pueblo de Dios, Inc., and holding roles at Epic Charter Schools as a Hispanic Programs and Services Specialist and Bilingual Special Education Teacher. Saidy's early career includes positions at Arvest Bank, Deutsche Bank, Payless ShoeSource, and Zapateria Eben-Ezer. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on Logistics and a minor in Non-Profit Management, as well as a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certificate, among other qualifications. Saidy is also enhancing communication skills through a modern journalism certification from New York University.
