Ashley Cheyney, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of research and education. Ashley started their career as a Research Technician at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in 2012, where they gained skills in various laboratory techniques and procedures. In 2013, they transitioned into a PHD Candidate role at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, focusing on maternal obesity and fetal neuronal development during pregnancy. Ashley conducted research that could potentially lead to a better understanding of neurodevelopmental diseases.

After completing their PhD, Ashley continued their work at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow, where they gained experience in teaching physiology, pharmacology, and anatomy to medical and physician assistant programs. Ashley also took on the role of Assistant Professor, coordinating courses and programs in cardiovascular, reproductive, and endocrine physiology and pharmacology. Ashley Cheyney, PhD, has a strong educational background with a focus on physiology, biology, and zoology.
