Christina Bruxvoort is a PhD candidate and graduate student research assistant at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation since July 2020, focusing on translational research related to X chromosomal dosage and gene variations in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Christina has prior research experience as a graduate research assistant at OUHSC Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences and as a research assistant at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, where studies on intestinal regeneration were conducted. Additional research roles include investigations at Dean McGee Eye Institute and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, addressing topics such as apoptosis and cellular protein analysis.
