Courtney Griffin has a strong background in research and academic roles. Courtney started their career in 2001 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina-CH. In 2008, they joined the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and worked their way up to become the Vice President of Research. During their time there, they held various positions, including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Cardiovascular Biology Research Program. In 2018, they became the Scientific Director at the Oklahoma Center for Adult Stem Cell Research.
Courtney Griffin obtained a B.A. in Biology from Harvard University from 1991 to 1995. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, from 1995 to 2001.
