Joe Shaw

Joe Shaw, currently the VP of R&D at Manus Bio, has extensive experience in strain engineering and metabolic pathways optimization. Joe previously held positions at Novogy and Mascoma, focusing on improving yield and titer in thermophilic anaerobes. Joe also conducted research at Dartmouth College during their graduate studies, focusing on metabolic engineering for high ethanol yield in Thermoanaerobacterium saccharolyticum. Joe holds a PhD in Biotechnology Engineering from Dartmouth.
