Sophia Sok is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation since July 2021. With a robust academic background, Sophia obtained a PhD in Innate Immunity and Inflammation from the University of Malaya and holds another PhD in Biological Sciences with a focus on Immunology from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Malaya, where Sophia investigated the effects of metal nanoparticles on cancer cells and guided students in research projects. An internship at Cancer Research Malaysia involved screening anticancer compounds using zebrafish embryos. Sophia has a strong publication record, having authored manuscripts in ISI-indexed peer-reviewed journals.
