Jennifer Kinnard has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Jennifer began their career at Harmon Smith Advertising in 1996 as an Account Executive. From there, they moved on to work as the Public Information Officer at the City of Blue Springs until 2002. Jennifer then transitioned to the University of Kansas as a Communications Coordinator for the School of Journalism, where they worked until 2011. Following this, Jennifer joined the Oklahoma State University Foundation, where they held various roles including Director, Senior Director, and Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Communications.
Jennifer Kinnard pursued their education at The University of Kansas from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a focus on Business Communications.
