Theresa Gordon, RHIA has a wealth of experience in Health Information Management. Theresa served as the Director of Health Information Management at Oklahoma State University Medical Center from September 2009 to the present. Prior to that, Theresa was the Manager of HIM at Texas Health Resources for Diagnostics and Surgery from 2006 to April 2009. Theresa also held managerial positions at Dallas Home for Jewish Aged from 2000 to 2006 and at Plano Rehabilitation Hospital from 1991 to 2000.
Theresa Gordon, RHIA, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from East Central University. Theresa attended East Central University from 1980 to 1984. In 1983, they also briefly attended Westfield State University as an exchange student.

We have 11 residency programs and 10 fellowship programs that train more than 150 residents in primary care and sub-specialties on an annual basis. Together, OSU Center for Health Sciences and the medical center have trained more than 2,200 physicians of which many are actively practicing in Oklahoma.
