Sandra Lynn

Professor Sandy Lynn has spent over thirty years in nonprofit organizations. Immediately prior to teaching at OKWU, she provided thirteen years of leadership to an academic support organization for families who chose to home educate their children, both teaching students and equipping parents for this monumental task.

The importance of developing students’ socioemotional skills is increasingly important and is one of Lynn’s passions. She holds credentials as an Emotional Intelligence practitioner through Multi Health Systems, using the EQ-I 2.0 assessment tool. Lynn believes that increasing students’ ability to communicate is paramount to their success, both academically and professionally. She is thankful that she can join her passions for leadership development and communication as the lead in the Business Communication degree program.

Professor Lynn completed a Master of Science of Strategic Leadership from OKWU in 2018 and will complete an additional degree of Master of Arts in Communication with an Emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University in August 2020
