Andreea Dincu

Andreea Dincu has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2015. Her most recent position is as a Data Scientist at OKRA.ai, which they began in 2021. In 2020, they worked as a Data Science Intern at Tiqets, where they analyzed customer insights and developed a pre-processing and modelling pipeline. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist at Bitdefender, where they implemented part of a solution for user behavior anomaly detection and part of an ensemble of supervised models. In 2016, they worked as an R&D Developer Intern at FotoNation, where they built tools for internal use and implemented an automatic picture enhancement tool. In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at Lenovo.

Andreea Dincu obtained a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering with a focus on Automation Control and Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2017, after studying there from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Grigore Moisil National College from 2009 to 2013. In 2018, they obtained an IELTS Academic Certificate from the British Council. In 2019, they began their Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science at Leiden University, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
