Yuming Cao

Yuming Cao is a Principal Software Engineer at Okta, Inc., with tenure starting in August 2015, having progressed from Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. At Okta, Yuming focuses on securely connecting millions of users to applications across various devices. Previously, Yuming served as a Software Engineer at Cyan, Inc. from December 2012 to August 2015, where responsibilities included developing a RESTful user authentication service, creating a Django-based RESTful API to enhance customer testing efficiency, and implementing a modular Node Insertion feature. Yuming holds a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University.
