Warren Pfeffer began their career in 1983 as a Programmer at Reed Roberts Assoc., Inc. Warren then moved on to Professional Data Services, Inc. in 1985 as a Consultant. In 1987, they worked as a Consultant at Vista Concepts, Inc. and as an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch. In 1998, they began working at Credit Suisse as Vice President. Since 2011, they have been the Director of the Oktay R&D Lab and Research Fellow at Oktay Technology, where they are responsible for architecture, implementation, and management of proof-of-concept evaluations for Big Data platforms and researching Map/Reduce, NoSQL, Streaming, Graph Database, and Blockchain technologies.
Warren Pfeffer attended New York University in 2019, Thomas Edison State University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a B.A. in Computer Science, and Norwalk State Technical College from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained an A.S. in Data Processing. In 2019, they also obtained a Red Hat Delivery Specialist - Container Platform Deployment I certification from Red Hat.
