Cynthia Or currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at OKX since June 2022. Prior to this role, Cynthia was Senior Legal Counsel at EQONEX Group, where responsibilities included advising on cryptocurrency exchange operations, digital asset custody, asset management, structured products, and governance for the first NASDAQ-listed crypto exchange. Cynthia's legal career began at Baker McKenzie as an Associate specializing in M&A, private equity, and cross-border investments, followed by a secondment at Lenovo PCCW Solutions as Group Legal Counsel. Previous experience also includes positions at Dentons, Clifford Chance LLP, and O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a Juris Doctor, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, along with studies at Sciences Po.
