Emil Georgiev

Emil Georgiev currently serves as the Head of Corporate Risk Management and Finance - Internal Audit at OKX since April 2025. Prior to this role, Emil held several key positions at Citi, including Director and Senior Vice President within Corporate Treasury, focusing on liquidity management and audit functions from July 2016 to April 2025. Emil also has experience as Audit Director at American Express, where capital and treasury risk management audit teams were established, and as Vice President of Internal Audit at JPMorgan Chase & Co., overseeing global audit reviews. Earlier in his career, Emil worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Banco Santander, reporting directly to senior audit leadership. Emil holds an MSIEF in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis School of Business and Economics and a Master's degree in Business Management and Business Administration from Esade.
