Viesturs Gurtlavs

Viesturs Gurtlavs possesses over two decades of extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles within the finance and leasing sectors. Currently serving as Advisor to the Board at Olpha Global since May 2014, Viesturs oversees AML/KYC and sanction compliance processes, manages business partners' due diligence, and maintains internal procedures. Previous roles include CEO at Silvanols and Latvian Leasing Association, where Viesturs facilitated collaboration with government agencies and significantly impacted the leasing market in Latvia. Viesturs has also held key positions at Hipolīzings, Latvijas Hipoteku un Zemes Banka, and Sampo Leasing, showcasing a strong background in business development, project management, and operational control. Viesturs Gurtlavs holds two Master's Degrees, one in Business Management from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte and another in Law from Latvijas Universitate.
