Leonard Gross

Lenny leads the Olameter communications and distribution grid team in designing, building and operating the companies Internet of Things (IOT) initiative. Over the last 3 decades he has held progressive engineering positions, including CTO and Vice President of Engineering at ƒonorola where he was responsible for the building and operations of a USA/Canada-wide fiber-optic network which was acquired by Sprint in 1998 for $1.8 billion. Lenny later accepted the position of Vice President of Engineering Telecom and Smart Grid at Hydro One Networks where he lead a specialized engineering team towards the technical design and successful installation of 1.3 million smart meters and was part of the senior management team that was awarded Canada’s first UPN (Utility Planning Network) global award for this project.
