Ross Barker

Ross Barker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ross is currently serving as the Director of Business Operations at Olathe Health since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Research Medical Center as the Director of Neurosciences and Orthopedics from June 2019 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for programmatic oversight for Comprehensive Stroke Center reaccreditation and played a role in the growth strategy of the center. Before joining Research Medical Center, they worked at HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group as the Market Manager from September 2018 to June 2019. At Wesley Medical Center, they held multiple roles including Director of Neurosciences and Medical Education from April 2016 to September 2018, Director of Medical Education from August 2013 to September 2018, Manager of Central Billing Office from November 2011 to August 2013, and Billing Office Manager from November 2011 to April 2013. Ross began their career at Via Christi Health System as a Clinic Manager from July 2009 to October 2011. During their tenure there, they introduced LEAN processes to increase efficiencies and decrease staffing costs.

Ross Barker received their Bachelor of Science degree in English from The University of Kansas in 2004. Ross went on to earn their Masters in Healthcare Leadership from Friends University from 2008 to 2010.
