Yousef Balubaid

Yousef Balubaid has extensive work experience in compliance and legal roles. Yousef served as the Head of Compliance for Olayan Saudi Holding Company (OSHCO) and Olayan Financing Company starting in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Abdul Latif Jameel from 2015 to 2020, holding positions such as Head of Compliance - SGM, Head of Investigation Dept. - GM, and Legal Compliance - GM. Yousef also gained experience as a General Manager at Diyar Mafaz Real Estate Development from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Lawyer and Legal Advisor at Fahad AL-Oqaily Law Firm in 2012, and as a Trainee at Khaled Al-Yafhie Law Firm in 2011 and Fuad Bin Mahfouz Law Firm in 2007.

Yousef Balubaid's education history begins in 2003 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Law from Umm Al-Qura University. In 2009, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in International Economic and Trade Law from Brunel University London. In 2022, they attended Midocean University and completed a Master's degree in Risk Management. Additionally, in the same year, they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership from Emeritus.

In terms of certifications, in 2019, Yousef obtained a Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) certification from LEORON Institute. In 2020, they obtained several certifications including Lead Compliance Manager ISO 19600 from PECB, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Certified GRC Professional (GRCP) from OCEG (Open Compliance & Ethics Group).
