David Wakefield is a registered barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, currently serving as a Solicitor at Lane Neave since January 2022. Prior experience includes multiple summer legal clerkships at Duncan Cotterill, where practical experience in the Commercial team was gained between 2017 and 2021. In addition to legal roles, David Wakefield has been the Club Secretary for the Old Boys Collegians Cricket Club since May 2016, contributing to one of New Zealand's largest cricket clubs. David Wakefield holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with majors in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance from the University of Canterbury, as well as completing the Professional Legal Studies Course at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2022.
