Chris Brooks, SPHR, is a seasoned HR executive with extensive experience in human resources and safety, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Safety at Old Dominion Freight Line since June 2015. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Human Resources at National General Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development for a company with over $2 billion in revenue. Chris has a proven track record in supporting acquisitions, integrating HR systems, and aligning corporate cultures, and has also held positions such as Human Resources Manager and Supervisor, showcasing expertise in various HR functions. Earlier career experiences include leading national recruiting efforts at Bank of America and serving as a Human Resources Representative at UPS. Chris holds a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
