Laura Jones, CRCM, has extensive experience in compliance roles. Laura most recently served as the SVP/Director of Compliance at Old Dominion National Bank since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the VP/Interim Director of Compliance at Sonabank from July 2018 to December 2019. From November 2014 to July 2018, they were the Senior Manager of Compliance at E*TRADE. Before that, they served as the Lending Compliance Manager at Virginia Heritage Bank from August 2012 to October 2014. Laura has also worked as the AVP/Compliance Officer at Virginia Commerce Bank from September 2005 to August 2012, and as the Branch Services Assistant Manager at Dollar Bank from September 2003 to September 2005.

Laura Jones, CRCM, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Malone University. In 2010, they attended the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. In 2013, they attended the ABA Graduate School of Compliance, and in 2008, they attended the ABA Foundational School of Compliance. Laura Jones obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the Institute of Certified Bankers in July 2014.
