Chad A. Reed

Chad A. Reed currently serves as the Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Old Dominion University since March 2022. Prior to this role, Reed was the Vice President for Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Radford University from April 2011 to March 2022, as well as the Associate Vice President for Budget & Financial Planning. Reed has experience as a Senior Budget/Fiscal Analyst at Virginia Tech and held positions at the US Government Accountability Office, DHL, and Norfolk Southern. Reed holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Tennessee State University.
