Nikki Stewart

Nikki Stewart is the current Executive Director at Old North Church & Theirtoric Site. Prior to their current position, Nikki served as the Vice President of Development for United South End Settlements from January 2013 to September 2019. In this role, Nikki led the organization’s fundraising efforts through an ambitious growth phase that included strategic plan implementation and a capital campaign.

During their time at United South End Settlements, Nikki was named 2019 Outstanding Fundraising Rising Star by AFP Massachusetts. Nikki also grew annual revenue from 967K in FY14 to 2.1M in FY19 and secured $5M in capital commitments for Camp Hale over an 18-month period. Nikki also launched Change Maker Dinners, which received the GK10 award in 2018, naming the dinners as one of the top 10 ideas advancing racial equity in Boston.

In addition to their impressive work at United South End Settlements, Nikki led a campaign feasibility study and secured two seven-figure leadership gifts to launch the quiet phase of a capital campaign. Nikki also cultivated five prospects into Board membership and led USES’s 125th anniversary celebrations including a birthday party, history exhibit, and anniversary gala.

Nikki’s primary responsibilities include collaborating with senior leadership and board on the implementation of strategic goals and objectives, annual budgeting, talent-related decisions, and overall management of the organization. Nikki also sets fundraising targets and executes strategies to reach or exceed annual goals while ensuring that fundraising and marketing strategies and messaging align with USES’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nikki manages a development and marketing team of five and cultivates and manages a portfolio prospects and donors.

Nikki Stewart has attended Harvard Kennedy School, Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and Northeastern University School of Law. Nikki has a B.S. in Communications Studies, Rhetoric and Public Speech from Northeastern University.
