Helen Gee

Helen Gee is an experienced professional in the real estate appraisal and financial sectors, currently serving as the Appraisal Group Manager and 1st Vice President at Old Second National Bank since March 2022. Prior to this role, Helen held the position of Valuation Services Senior Specialist at First Midwest Bank, overseeing appraisal operations to ensure compliance with lending deadlines. Helen's extensive background includes work as a Certified General Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at Appraisal Research Counselors, where significant projects included valuations for notable properties and economic development projects. Helen also has teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member in finance and mathematics, alongside a decade of leadership as Treasurer and Principal of Liang's International Inc. Helen holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
