Jackie Putnam

Jackie Putnam serves as the Director of Museum Education for School & Community Partnerships at Old Sturbridge Village since August 2022, previously holding the position of Assistant Director in the same department. With a robust background in education, Jackie worked at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 2005 to August 2022 as an Educational Specialist, leading a comprehensive teacher induction program for approximately 1,200 new teachers annually. This initiative involved a large network of coach facilitators, lead mentors, and mentors, focusing on professional learning related to social-emotional well-being and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, Jackie has experience as an Elementary School Teacher, fostering inclusive classrooms and mentoring novice educators. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Westfield State University.
