Jolien Roesthuis

Jolien Roesthuis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainable design and product development. As the founder and owner of Old2Gold since September 2015, Jolien passionately creates bags from recycled leather and repurposed clothing, emphasizing the value of textiles as meaningful items rather than waste. Previously, Jolien served as Product Growth Manager at Tootal Fabrics (Holland) B.V., where responsibilities included coordinating a sustainable fabrics product range. Additionally, Jolien worked as a project manager at Innovatiehub Tubbergen, fostering connections between the industry and higher education. Early in the career, Jolien gained retail experience as a commercial saleswoman at Woonboulevard Oldenzaal, excelling in customer advising and merchandise styling. Education includes a Post HBO degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Commercial Textile Science.
