Neal Applefeld

Neal Applefeld has had a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Neal began their career as a Sr. Legislative Assistant at AIPAC in 1990 and worked there until 1994. After that, they worked as a Product Manager at Black & Decker from 1994 to 1997. Following that, they joined John Deere as a Sr. Product Manager for a brief period of time before moving on to Elmer's Products, Inc. where they served as Vice President & General Manager from 1999 to 2010.

In 2009, Neal founded their own company, GIANT TREE HOUSE, where they served as Founder and CEO until 2011. In the same year, they founded DNA Concepts LLC, working as a Founder, focusing on toy and juvenile product invention and consulting until 2015.

In 2011, Neal founded SeeMore Interactive Inc., serving as Founder & CEO until 2016. After that, they joined American Greetings, where they held various positions including Principal, Strategic Consulting from 2015 to 2019, and General Manager - Digital Brands from 2016 to 2019. Neal then served as Vice President, Growth & Business Development from 2018 to 2019, and General Manager Ecommerce from 2019 to 2020.

Neal's most recent role is as President and CEO of OLD WORLD CHRISTMAS since July 2020.

Neal Applefeld studied at the University of Maryland from 1985 to 1989. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Government & Politics. Neal then pursued further education at the University of Baltimore from 1994 to 1997. Here, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
