Giacomo Petrobelli

Giacomo Petrobelli currently serves as Chief Investment Officer and a member of the management board at Oldenburgische Landesbank AG since January 2020. Prior to this role, Giacomo held the position of Senior Advisor at BKB Bank from July 2016 to January 2020, focusing on the development of European leveraged finance and middle market lending. Giacomo gained experience as an Advisor at Apollo Global Management LLC from July 2015 to 2018 and as a Senior Partner at Made in Italy Holding from 2012 to 2018, concentrating on investments in Italian SMEs and their growth in Emerging Markets. Giacomo also directed PRV Energy from 2009 to 2018, specializing in renewable energy projects in Italy. Earlier in Giacomo’s career, significant experience was acquired as Managing Director and Head of Leveraged Capital Markets for EMEA at UBS Investment Bank from 1998 to 2011. Giacomo holds a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), obtained between 1994 and 1997.
