Ramana Murty

Ramana Murty is an accomplished professional in the electric vehicle manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Head of Project for the EV bus manufacture unit at Olectra Greentech Limited since August 2021. In this role, Ramana Murty leads a greenfield project aimed at establishing India’s leading production capacity for electric vehicles, targeting 10,000 buses and 30,000 chassis annually, in Seetharampur. Previously, Ramana Murty worked at Ashok Leyland from November 2007 and served as Deputy General Manager, further demonstrating extensive experience in engineering roles, including serving as an Engineer at Vasai from April 2017 to May 2021. Ramana Murty holds an M.Tech in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Devi Ahilya University and possesses a background in mechanical engineering.
