Jon-Paul Desormeaux

Jon-Paul DesOrmeaux is an experienced engineer specializing in OLED technology and microfabrication. Currently serving as a Product Builder/Engineer at OLEDWorks since January 2022, Jon-Paul focuses on OLED formulation, novel upconverter, and photolithography development. Prior to this role, Jon-Paul worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Orthogonal, Inc., where responsibilities included the development of organic patterning methods and passive OLED backplane fabrication. Jon-Paul's earlier experience at SiMPore involved leading the invention of ultrathin membranes and collaboration with university research groups. An early career internship at Micron Technology provided foundational skills in quality and reliability analysis. Jon-Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate Degree in Communications/Media Arts Journalism from Monroe Community College.
