Sasha Austin

Sasha Austin serves as Vice President of Finance and Controller at Olema Oncology, bringing a wealth of financial and accounting experience in the biotechnology industry and an expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and public company reporting and compliance. Mrs. Austin joined Olema in January 2021 and has helped the company scale while leading the finance team on accounting operations, technical accounting, financial reporting, and related regulatory filings. Prior to joining Olema, she served as Controller at GigCapital Global, a SPAC, where she successfully managed the technical accounting, financial reporting, and related public company filings with the SEC for a number of investment and portfolio entities. Before that she worked at Ernst & Young in assurance practice where she led the financial statement audits of numerous companies at various stages, spanning from private to preclinical to commercial. She received a BA in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting and International Business from Seattle University in Washington. Mrs. Austin is an active CPA in California and a member of the AICPA.
