Apurba Islam

Apurba (Apu) Islam is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Lead Senior Consultant at Olenick since September 2014, Apu manages large infrastructure projects, including the development of advanced training facilities and high-capacity network systems. Prior experience includes a role as Director of IT at Capital One, overseeing a significant Windows 7 deployment budget, and a 19-year tenure at HSBC where Apu held multiple roles including Director of Data Management, managing one of the largest DBA organizations in the company. Apu's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from North Carolina Central University.
