Theresa Cassan

Theresa Cassan has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance and risk management sector. Theresa started their career at Grant Thornton LLP in Canada in 1995, where they worked as a Principal until 2012. During their time at Grant Thornton LLP, they gained valuable expertise in accounting and financial services. In 2012, they joined Northern Credit Union as a Director of Credit and Risk Services, where they were responsible for overseeing lending, governance, and risk management. Theresa later took on the role of Director of Risk, Compliance and Reporting, where they administered the Enterprise Risk Management Program and presented credit and risk reporting to the Board of Directors. In 2021, Theresa joined OLG as the Director of Tax & Treasury, where they continue to utilize their knowledge and skills in financial management.

Theresa Cassan completed their Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University from 1988 to 1992. Theresa obtained the CPA CA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1997.
