Richard Fairbairn

Richard Fairbairn is an accomplished project manager and petrophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Oliasoft, Richard previously held key positions including PL820 Asset Development Manager at MOL Norge AS, where leadership was provided for the 'Iving' exploration discovery, and Head of UK Subsurface & JV Manager at MOL Energy UK Limited, overseeing subsurface work and joint ventures. Prior roles include Subsurface Team Lead at Petrophysical Consulting, Senior Petrophysicist at CNR International, and Petrophysicist at Shell, where Richard specialized in various aspects of exploration and development across multiple regions. Richard's educational background includes an MBA from Corvinus University of Budapest and an Executive MBA from Maastricht School of Management, complemented by a BSc in Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
