Fabian Rust began their work experience in 2005 as an Account Manager at Deli XL, where they worked until 2006. Fabian then moved on to Lamb Weston Meijer, starting as a Sales Promotor in 2007 and gradually progressing through various roles, including Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and finally International Key Account Manager for Foodservice Chains/QSR in the EMEA region until 2018. In 2018, Rust joined Oliehoorn as a Commercial Manager and later became the Commercial Director in 2020.
Fabian Rust's education history includes various courses and programs focused on selling skills, sales operations, and business English. In 2008, they attended Nima Sales A for Selling Skills and Sales Operations. The following year, in 2009, they continued their education in the same field at Nima Sales B. Additionally, Fabian attended Taleninstituut EBC to study Business English. Later on, they pursued professional development courses at CL Network, specializing in building customer-centric teams in 2015, advanced presentation skills in 2014, advanced negotiation skills in 2013, and advanced & consultative selling skills in the same year.
