Maite Otero has a wealth of experience in the professional world. Maite started their career in 2013 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at SELLBYTEL Group Spain. In 2014, they became a Workplace Experience Manager at King, where they were responsible for delivering a first class service to internal customers and key stakeholders. From 2015-2021, they held a side project as a Therapist & Coach at Instituto de Interacción, providing coaching and therapy sessions for adults. In 2016, Maite joined Typeform.com as the Head of Home and Workplace Manager. In 2019, they became the Head of People & Culture (Remote) at Paymentology, where they worked with the leadership team to reinforce and nourish the company's culture and curate the best employee experience. In 2021, Maite began a Podcast Host role at Oliva, where they discussed mental health in the workplace. Finally, in 2022, Maite became the Head of People and Culture at both Superlist and Relive.

Maite Otero obtained a Graduado en psicología from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in September 2014. Maite then pursued a Master's degree in Psicología clínica from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya between 2014 and 2016. In 2015, they obtained a Degree in Humanistic Psychology from the Instituto de interacción and an IOSH - Managing safely certification from the British Safety Council. Between 2016 and 2017, Maite Otero obtained a Master's degree in Psychology from the Instituto Carl Rogers and an Integrative therapy degree from DENDROS. Maite also completed a Project Management course from La Salle BCN in 2017. In addition, Maite Otero has obtained certifications from LinkedIn, BIFM - The professional body for facilities management, IOSH, and Agile Scrum Alliance.
