Andrea Fernando has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Andrea began their career as an Executive Assistant Coordinator at EY in 2005 and later worked as an Administrative Assistant at KPMG in Canada from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Marriott International as an Executive Marketing & Communications Assistant at The Westin Calgary, where they focused on social media brand initiatives and provided support to the General Manager. Andrea then took on the role of Manager, Marketing & Communications, executing property-level communications and marketing strategies. From 2021 to 2022, Andrea held project-based Marketing Manager positions at the Westin Edmonton and Delta Hotels by Marriott, Grand Okanagan Resort. Subsequently, Andrea enrolled at Ryerson University from 2007 to 2009, focusing on Fashion Coordination.
