Sven-Olaf Vathje

Sven-Olaf Vathje is the current Practice Head of Health & Life Sciences for Middle East and Africa at Oliver Wyman. Prior to this, they were a Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group from 1996 to 2008, based in Hamburg, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, and Dubai/Abu Dhabi.

Vathje has over 20 years of experience in management consulting. Sven-Olaf has advised clients in the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, and healthcare services industries on strategy, organization, operations, and mergers & acquisitions.

Sven-Olaf holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.

Sven-Olaf Vathje has a Doctor in Economics from Kiel University, a Master of Arts in Economics from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, and a Pre-Diploma in Economics and Regional Studies from the University of Tübingen.
