Alexander L. Cappello, a global leader in corporate finance, is a current or past trustee/director of USC Marshall School of Business, USC Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute, City of Hope, Pacific Council on International Policy, and Biller Foundation. He built Cappello Global LLC, a global merchant bank whose principals have transacted more than $155 billion in 55 countries. He was the only two-term International Chairman of YPO and is currently a Director of RAND Corporation’s Center for Middle East Public Policy, Center for Global Risk and Security, the Rand-Russia Forum, and The Cheesecake Factory, Inc., Virco Mfg., Gusmer Enterprises, and Global Hydrocarbon.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree from USC Marshall School of Business with honors as an “Order of the Palm” scholar and an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Goodwin College in Stamford, Connecticut. He has been inducted into the Order of Honorary Fellows at Marymount College. He is a past chairman and director of Inter-Tel, Arcus Data, Koo Koo Roo, Geothermal Resources, Irisguard, Intelligent Energy PLC, and Genius Products, (all publically traded).
