John Edmonds

John Edmonds is currently serving as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator for Olmsted County, a position held since January 2023. As a co-founder of Project Legacy since 2013, John Edmonds has dedicated efforts to support youth of color in the Rochester community facing resource challenges. Previously, John Edmonds worked for Olmsted County Health, Housing and Human Services from September 1997 to December 2022, supervising the Family Support Unit. Additionally, John Edmonds held the position of President of the Board of Directors at the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Rochester from September 2008 to September 2014 and contributed to education as an instructor at the University of Minnesota from September 2007 to May 2011. John Edmonds holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology/Psychology, also from New York University.
