Sara Johnston, CPA has a strong background in tax accounting with a focus on state and local tax issues. Sara worked at Olsen Thielen and Co., Ltd. from 2009 to the present where they started as a Tax Associate and eventually became a Tax Director. Throughout their tenure, Sara has managed client tax engagements, trained and mentored staff, and provided consulting services related to sales tax audits and other projects. Sara also has experience preparing complex tax returns, reviewing corporation and individual returns, and overseeing workflow. Prior to joining Olsen Thielen and Co., Ltd., Sara worked as a Tax Intern at Olsen Thielen in 2008.
Sara Johnston, CPA completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Academy of Holy Angels but did not obtain a degree from there.
