Peter Karellas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Peter started their career in 2007 as a Property Assistant at SL Green Realty Corp. where they later progressed to become an Analyst, Associate, Vice President, and eventually Senior Vice President, all in the Underwriting department. In 2016, Peter joined the New York City Economic Development Corporation as the Chief of Staff for Asset Management Revenue. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Asset Management Strategic Planning & Reporting at Olshan Properties, starting in 2017. Additionally, in 2007, Peter worked as a Search Account Executive at Razorfish Global.
Peter Karellas earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Pace University in 2005. Peter later pursued a Master's Degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment at New York University, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Karellas has obtained several certifications including Tax Credit Specialist from the National Center for Housing Management in 2019, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the CCIM Institute in 2015, Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) from BOMI International in 2015, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson from the N.Y. Department of State, Division of Licensing Services in 2014, and they were also a Fulbright Scholar through the U.S. Department of State in 2005.
