Sherif Dweek

Sherif Dweek has a wide range of experience in various roles within the oil and gas industry. Sherif most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Pro-Vac, LLC, where they led the delivery of waste management and infrastructure solutions. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and President of Maze Environmental, focusing on emissions reduction in the oil and gas sector.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Sherif held several leadership positions at Schlumberger, including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Operations Support. In these roles, they oversaw large teams and successfully implemented strategies to drive revenue growth, improve market share, and reduce costs. Sherif also managed global operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Earlier in their career, Sherif held roles such as Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Support Manager, Field Services Manager, and Field Services Engineer, where they gained experience in drilling operations, client relations, and project management across various regions.

Throughout their work experience, Sherif has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, delivering results in revenue growth, market share, cost savings, and environmental risk reduction.

Sherif Dweek's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree from Alexandria University, which they completed from 1992 to 1997 in the field of Industrial Engineering. Sherif then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from La Salle University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2001.

In 2007, Sherif attended INSEAD to acquire a degree in General Management. Additionally, in 2012, they completed a program on Business Strategy for Managers at Management Centre Europe (MCE).

Further enriching their education, Sherif pursued a Global Business Management degree at INSEAD from 2012 to 2013, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In the same year, they also completed the Strategy Execution Programme from INSEAD Executive Education.

In 2013, Sherif obtained certifications in Powering Corporate Growth and Blue Ocean Strategy, both from INSEAD Executive Education. Additionally, they completed the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) program at Management Centre Europe (MCE).

Continuing their professional development, Sherif earned certifications in various subjects, including Crisis Leadership Management and Communications, Operations Integrity Process Management, Integrated Project Management, Advanced B2B Sales, Service Delivery Process Management, Advanced Finance for Managers, People Management Skills, QHSE Management System, Sales Training level 1, and First Line Manager Training, all from Schlumberger. These certifications were obtained between 2001 and 2019.

Looking forward, Sherif has plans to attend MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2023 to obtain a Chief Operating Officer Diploma, focusing on Business/Commerce.
