India Hoekman

India Hoekman is a professional with a strong background in biomedical and medical engineering. Currently serving as a Medewerker bloedafname at OLVG since December 2023, India has previously held positions including Afstudeerstage at De Hoogstraat Revalidatie, where an innovative adaptive attachment system for prosthetic leg users on roller coasters was developed. A research internship at SSN College of Engineering focused on the iGrip prosthetic hand, highlighting India’s commitment to low-cost solutions in prosthetics. Past experiences include roles at Sanquin and PRA Health Sciences, alongside academic achievements from Delft University of Technology, the University of Groningen, and Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem.
