Alfonso García de Corral

Alfonso García de Corral is the Interim VP of AI at Olvin. Prior to this, they were a Data Scientist at Akka Technologies from January 2019 to September 2019, working on Time Series Anomaly Detection. Alfonso was also a Cofounder at ABACE Group from October 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, they worked on an MSc Project at Aerial Robotics Lab at Imperial College London from May 2018 to September 2018, where they developed a control algorithm based in non-linear optimisation employing C++, as well as Matlab for the mathematical modeling. Alfonso also served as a research intern in the Applied Math Department at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from June 2017 to July 2017.

Alfonso García de Corral's educational career includes a MSc in Control Systems from Imperial College London, a Bachelors's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Degree in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Aerospace Engineering from University of Glasgow. Additionally, they have completed a coding bootcamp from Le Wagon in Barcelona and holds a certification from Cambridge English in Advanced (CAE).

Alfonso García de Corral reports to Sam Amrani, Founder & CEO. They work with Matt Taaffe - VP Product, Pablo Gómez Pérez - Senior Data Researcher, and Matt Felix - Marketing Manager.
