Rogério Rodrigues

Rogério Rodrigues is an experienced software engineer and educator, currently serving as an Instructor at Ada Tech since June 2024, specializing in Algorithms and Data Structures. As a Principal Software Engineer at Grupo OLX since August 2019, Rogério has contributed to the Recommendation Systems team and the Buyer Journey squad, leveraging technologies such as React, Node (NextJS), Python, and Java. Prior roles at Grupo OLX include Senior Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager, overseeing development squads across various tribes. With extensive experience at Microsoft from 2008 to 2019, Rogério played significant roles in the Bing Engineering team and the Office SharePoint division. Additionally, a longstanding academic career at PUC-Rio spanned over two decades as a professor and researcher in programming and multimedia technologies. Rogério holds a doutorado in Informática focused on Hypermedia/Multimedia and has completed multiple degrees at the same institution.
