Don Holder has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries. In 2011, they began their career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy. In 2018, they took on roles as a Laboratory Technician - Neuroscience at Columbia University in the City of New York, a Data Scientist at Good Uncle, an MBA Intern at Chelsea Venture Partners, and a Chief Science Officer at SoWise. In 2019, they became a Research Assistant - Neuroscience at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. In 2021, they became a Partner at Total Return Capital Management and a Co-Founder at Olympian Motors (YC W22). Most recently, they assumed the role of Interim CEO at Meda in 2022.
Don Holder has an extensive educational background. Don obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami in 2012, cum laude. In 2017, they earned an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and also obtained a CFA Institute Investment Foundations™ certification. In 2019, they began a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience at Florida Atlantic University, which they are still pursuing. Don also obtained a Master of Science in Biology - Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University in 2021.
