John Groves

John Groves has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. John started their career at Pentair in 1998 as a Welder, where they gained experience in welding large electrical enclosures and operating various automated machines. John then transitioned to Advance Auto Parts in 2001 and worked as an Assistant Manager, responsible for parts lookup, sales, employee supervision, and training. In 2005, John joined Precision Resource, Inc. as a Press Operator until 2013. At Olympic Steel, John held multiple roles including Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and CNC Nesting Programmer, starting from 2013 until the present. Recently, in 2021, they started their own business called This Little Light Designs and Custom Laser Engraving as the owner.

John Groves obtained a Diploma in Welding Technology/Welder from Maysville Community and Technical College, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Bath County High School from 1992 to 1996. In 2023, they pursued further education in the field of robotics programming. John first completed a program in Robotic Programming fundamentals at Lincoln Automation, followed by a course in Advanced Robotic Programming at the same institution.
