Jonathan Sanfilippo

Jonathan Sanfilippo has a diverse work experience, including positions in academia and various companies. Jonathan is currently an Associate Professor at Kent State University, since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Olympic Steel from October 2015 onwards. From December 2011 to October 2015, they held the same role at Preformed Line Products. Before that, they served as an Auditor of Information Technology at Sterling Jewelers from December 2010 to December 2011. Jonathan's earlier career includes a managerial role at Ernst and Young from 2006 to 2010, and an Audit Senior position at Deloitte from September 2004 to October 2006.

Jonathan Sanfilippo received their education in Accounting from Kent State University. Jonathan earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Kent State University from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters of Science degree at Kent State University in Accounting from 2003 to 2004.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jonathan Sanfilippo holds certifications in the field. Jonathan obtained the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in December 2009. Later, in June 2015, they acquired the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
